    even in medieval age there were better sharpening methods. fundamentally, this tutorial is flawed.

    I would have liked it better if the Photoshop guru had thought to switch on and off the new layers. All that was done was layer selection instead. He only turned off a layer once in the beginning. That is my only criticism. Otherwise I enjoyed the animated vocal quality of his narration.

    Dr. Russel Brown (one of the deep wizards of Photoshop engineering) clearly was just as quirky and just as out-of-the-box brilliant 15 years ago as he is today. I didn’t know he was making videos that far back. His voice and his style of delivery are unmistakable. Catch Dr. Brown at Photoshop World, ADIM, MAX or on Adobe TV.
