i cant seem to do the softening the hard edges thing. everytime i do it it goes black around the edges…??? help please? its at 19:19

This video is definitely good, and the man is doing a great job, but he should keep on mind that he speaks too fast, and, for a clip of 22 min, he could have shown how to create a selection channel in the same video

What if you have completely black hair that has very little, if any, information in it?I.e., washed out or blown out areas? How would you go about changing that to a light blonde, while somehow showing texture, and strands of hair, when there’s practically no information there to begin with?Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@chachie68 I know, that’s what I hate too.. A few of the techniques he’s doing isn’t possible now, because the features aren’t in CS5.

You… should never make another instructional video ever again. You don’t use captions, your OCD is driving me fucking crazy, lay down all the god damn layers first, THEN go through and correct ur mistakes… this was basically a “how to make mistakes” video… you just wasted an hour of my life with a video I figured would teach me something. All it taught me is that you need to get more organized before trying to teach ANYONE how to work photoshop.
